How Mark Overcame Low Back Pain and Improved His Running Form

Mark is a 59 year old runner who was experiencing severe low back pain and sharp pain down his right leg.  He was unable to run due to the pain.  He showed signs of poor hip stability especially on the right side.  We suggested exercises to improve hip strength and muscle activation.  After a few weeks he was back to running pain free!

Mark's Force Portrait shows a distinct asymmetrical pattern when he begins to slip into his "lazy" running form which leads to pain.  By monitoring his Force Portrait during his runs Mark is able to maintain proper running form.  He knows when he begins to fatigue and needs to take a break to prevent injury.
